Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts

The following keyboard and mouse shortcuts can be used in the LLID.

Zooming - Mouse

• Zoom in by moving the mouse wheel forward or upward.

• Zoom out by moving the mouse wheel backward or downward.

  

• Press the keyboard Shift + Left mouse button to draw a rectangle for zooming.

  

  The map focus is zoomed to the area.

Zooming - Keyboard

• Zoom in by pressing the keyboard Shift + keys.
• Zoom out by pressing the keyboard Shift + keys.

• Press the keyboard Shift + Ctrl + Left mouse button and drag the mouse pointer.

  

  The map focus is zoomed to the area.

Re-center and Panning - Mouse

• Click and drag the mouse pointer to re-center and pan the map.

Panning - Arrow Keys

• Press the keyboard arrow keys to pan the map. 

Full-screen Mode

• Press the keyboard F11 key for full screen mode.
• Press the keyboard F11 key again to display the regular view.

Show Overview Map

• The Show Overview Map feature displays a small map with a larger Geographic areas for which data is available.extent than the current map. The current map extent is shown in the popup window within a red-outlined rectangle. For easier viewing, close the Identify/LLID & RM calculator dialogue box.

Note: As you zoom the map in or out, the map extent may change so that it shows an area larger than the main map. The overview may look different from the main map. Layers may be visible at different map scales (zoom levels).
